Scott County’s official VINE material confirms that its jail booking system participates. The public jail roster and VINE are separate displays, so their update times need not match.

For exact proof, ask for the existing booking-level record with actual release date and time, release type or authority, and destination or receiving agency. The county jail roster does not supply those release fields because it is only a timestamped In Custody list. Scott County VINE Versus Haven
Minnesota has two notification layers, and combining them produces wrong results. Current Minnesota VINE covers county jails. Minnesota Haven, operated through MNDOC Victim Assistance, handles state-prison and supervision notices. A person who leaves Scott County Jail for MNDOC custody may stop appearing as held in the county VINE record without having left correctional custody.

Haven notices can include advance notice of release, conditional release, final release, agent assignment, and sentence expiration. The distinction preserves the actual custody chain: Scott County VINE for the county jail, Haven and MNDOC records for prison or state supervision.
Scott County’s older local VINE page refers broadly to DOC events and older calling patterns. Current statewide sources say calls repeat for 24 hours and separate county VINE from DOC Haven. The current state architecture controls, while the county page remains useful proof that Scott County Jail participates.
The MNDOC Public Viewer is also separate from Haven. The viewer can show an incarcerated status, an Anticipated Release Date, or a later status such as Under Supervision. Confirm Scott County Release Alerts
Notification data can lag behind the physical event or the jail’s own booking update. The state describes a usual interval, not a guarantee for a particular record. Public access is limited to statutory categories such as certain noncompliant registrants and qualifying public-notification cases. Most registrants are not displayed. A result there concerns registry status, not Scott County Jail custody, while an absent result says nothing about a VINE record or a release.
Keep a short log of the person identifier, the facility shown, the status wording, and the time checked. That makes later confirmation more precise without overstating what the alert proves.
